Draw against CSKA Moscow in the first match of the season

Krylia Sovetov started the Russian Premier League season with the goalless draw against CSKA Moscow at the Samara Arena stadium, which gathered 39137 viewers - 0:0.

Before the start of the game, the first ball kick was made by two famous Russian athletes - the UEFA Cup winner, the bronze medalist of the European Championship, the football player who played for Krylia Sovetov and CSKA Sergey Ignashevich, and also by the world hockey champion, the goalkeeper of the NHL Colorado Avalanche team and Russian national team, a native of Samara, Semen Varlamov.

The match itself, despite a large number of scoring chances, eventually ended in a goalless draw.

The next match will be held on 5 August. Krylia Sovetov headed by Andrey Tikhonov will play vs. Orenburg at the Samara Arena stadium. Kick-off: 17:30.
